Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we’re here to help.

Returns

You can return most items within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • In unused and resellable condition.
  • In its original packaging (if applicable).

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the personalized or custom nature of some of our products, we are unable to accept returns on:

  • Personalized or customized items (unless defective).
  • Sale or clearance items (unless damaged).

How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team at sales@smithvalleyaviation.com with your order number and the item you wish to return.
  2. Return Authorization: Once we receive your request, we’ll provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and detailed instructions on how to return your item.
  3. Pack Your Return: Carefully package your item in its original packaging to ensure it arrives safely. Please include the RA number on the package.
  4. Ship the Return: Ship the item back to us at the provided address. Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Refunds & Exchanges

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method, typically within 5-7 business days.

If you prefer an exchange, please indicate the item you'd like to receive in place of the returned product. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • Damaged During Shipping: If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the order. We will either send a replacement at no additional charge or issue a full refund. Be sure to keep all original packaging and take photos of the damage for verification.
  • Defective Products: If you receive a defective product, please reach out to us within 7 days of receiving your order, and we’ll make it right with a replacement or a full refund.

Return Shipping Costs

  • If you are returning an item because it is defective or damaged during shipping, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
  • For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance to protect your return in case it is lost or damaged during transit.

  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping, unless the item was defective or damaged during transit. To ensure the safe return of your item, please use a trackable shipping service and consider purchasing shipping insurance.
  • Shipping costs for returns are non-refundable, unless the item was defective, damaged, or incorrect.
